The Green Park is a peaceful refuge for people living, working or visiting central London, and is particularly popular for sunbathing and picnics in fine weather.

Beautiful park with "green park" tube station in one side & Buckingham palace on the other side.During summer, crowded with people enjoying sun and their dogs. Just lay down under a tree & relax.

One of London's lesser used parks . Great for a stroll and the view down the park towards Buckingham Palace is a beautiful frame for a picture.
Little bit dirty place as there are many pigeons and dogs peeing and pooing everywhere. Especially, do not sit near the trees which dogs tend to pee However, on sunny days, good place to go and relax.
Grass, in a park setting. Can be found here between the sky, (which is blue and generally higher up), and the mud, (which is brown and always lower down).
Great for a run especially in summer or some tranquility in the hustle and bustle. Where Londoners get back to earth. 👌🏻
After you grab your Cornish Pasties from Victoria Station come here to sit and enjoy!
In summer, fill up on (slightly overpriced) M&S food, from opposite the station, lay back, have a picnic and look at the lovely mix of civil servants, businessmen, tourists and sly Londoners.
With Green Park TfL at one end of the park if you are changing underground train lines think of having a break here.

Walking along the northern perimeter path is much nicer than bathing in the traffic fumes of Piccadilly.
It's a green open space in London, the name is a giveaway. Lovely to stroll through.
In the 18th century the park was notorious for highwaymen and Horace Walpole was one of many robbed here. Handel’s ‘Music for the Royal Fireworks ’ was composed for an event here in 1749.

The royal parks are just really nice, espeacially in the autumn, makes autumn feel more autumnal.
Nice Green park
Nice place to sit and people-watch in the middle of the city . Lots of benches , and many dogs and kids running around.
Supposedly a Queen had all the flower beds ripped up from Green Park to stop her philandering husband from collecting flowers to give to his mistresses!
Lovely park , nearby shops. You have to pay to use the deck chairs.
Lovely park for a short wall
You are sitting in one of London's Royal Parks ! But before it was given the royal stamp of approval it was a famous haunt for highwaymen and thieves.

Beautiful memorial to Canadians who came to fight in Europe. Plenty of signs ask for people not to climb the memorial, but unfortunately they sometimes go unnoticed by kids. Kindly remind them. - George Kyriakos
