I've known people who have flown into Houston just to get these chicken and waffles . They are that good. Chicken-fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans on Thursdays are a favorite.

You can call this breakfast if you want. All I know is that its yummy. They have separate batter for chicken and fish . ...yes they sell the batter for your own fish fry at home.

The wings & waffle is my go to here! Always hot & fresh, along with the fruit bowl I always add! Customer service is always superb! Expect a crowd and maybe a little wait but it's worth it!

11:45 on Sat - line was long but super fast! The operation is amazing. You order/pay before seated—saves a lot of time. Kettlefish was so juicy! Grit was too buttery for me but overall very delicious.

You will order the chicken and waffles . You'll ask yourself do I really want to spend 20 bucks on breakfast ? And then you will tell yourself yes, I do, and enjoy the best fried chicken in the city .

AMAZING FOOD, INCREDIBLE SERVICE. The owner and manager came by our table to personally ask us how we were doing, welcome & thank us. The wings & waffle were delicious. Can't want to come back.

I had the French toast with eggs and bacon and my goodness was it heavenly. Must have. Buddy had the omelette and wife had fish and grits . Their fish was seasoned to perfection!

Worth driving in torrential rain to finally try this spot. Had one of the signature dishes (catfish & grits ); so good! The GM, Terry, is handsome and friendly . Very welcoming place with good soulfood.

Katfish and grits is a MUST. Portions are huge; I always have leftovers. The lemonade here is also amazing and comes bottled at the counter! Celebs love visiting this spot when they're in town !

By far the best breakfast place in Houston. The line wraps around the building sometimes, but it is definitely worth every minute you wait. Catfish and grits , wings and waffles ... mm mm mmm

Everyone says Wings and Waffles , they're right! I'm from the upper Midwest and I never had better grits in my life, really! This place is a "Cash Cow" and they deserve every cent! Go here, really!

THE BEST! The food is great and worth the wait. Chicken and waffles are good but it is better with French toast . The French toast is great with pecans on top. Atmosphere is wonderful and friendly .

You can't not order the wings - they are life changing. The pancakes are huge and fluffy and delicious, especially with their house hot syrup on top. The French toast is the bomb.com.

Enjoyed the service and food. You all really need a bigger place. Its impressive from a distance to see long line outside the doors but a turn off as well . I'll visit again when you expand.

Fish so delicious you'll be leaving with a bag if fish fry on the way out. Grits were marvelous, biscuits fluffy. Chicken so good my husband felt bad when he shared with me. So southern.

This restaurant is wonderful. The line will be wrapped outside the door and the grits are amazing. Ask for their hand squeezed lemonade as well and arrive before 12pm if you don't want an hour wait.

Great place and ambient, flavorful food probably not the cheapest place but definitely worth it... If you're into BIG breakfasts .

They had an overflow room today which was really nice since it was raining hard. Pretty expensive for a glass of mimosa . $5 is a bit much. Overall,we always enjoy our time at TBK. The grits are good

Staffs were attentive and friendly . A little bit pricey for the breakfast . The fried chicken was okay but not as crispy and tender as i expected. Coffee was just okay. Grits and eggs were amazing.

Simply the best breakfast in America ... people talk about the waffles and wings . I like everything here. The al dente grits are an art form.
