Our family of 12 stayed here for a week long Disney Vacation. Clean , helpful staff , shuttles ran often so we never had to wait long, and enough choices in the good court for our group! We'd go back!
Been there 3 times so far. The Fuentes del Morro pool as a lot of action especially for kids of all ages. Just an awesome resort . We will be back!!
Accommodations,Rooms,Pools are all great,WiFi may be a bit slow but we're not here to complain about something for free and we're here to have fun and it's all about the kids anyways...
Has a great and authentic experience. Love the fact there are additional smaller pools for those who don't like big crowds. My family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here and will return!
Very nice but too spread out. We have to walk past 4 other buildings to get to ours. At the end of the day, that's a long painful trip. I pity any Dad who has to get everyone's luggage to the room.
Good resort , you can see some fireworks at night. And very quite and peaceful . The only bad thing is that they don't have a gym to work out.
PAY 4 STND room, but,ASK 4 4249/ in JAMAICA (KING bed:)corner rm,view of white sandy beaches , quick jog to parking , pools, busses!
There’s a lot of construction still going in due to finish this year (2019) - staff are friendly the new food court and reception area are good and pools quiet !
Stayed at the amazing Pirate Room at Trinidad South. I could see Illuminations from the window. But just to give you an idea on how far away the room was, I could also see Pop Century's bowling pins.
Preferred rooms are the best.. Close to it all and very convenient.. The pool here is amazing. Best one of all the resorts with plenty of things for the kids to do..
This is a really nice moderate level resort . The skyliner is a game changer - very quick access to Hollywood Studios and Epcot.
It's an outdated resort . It's big therefore only if you're lucky will you be placed closed to the food court or pool. If you arrive after 10 pm you won't find anyone at the lobby to check you in
Since the rehab this place is beautiful. The new lobby and Sebastian’s bistro are top notch and the staff is friendly and fantastic.
Great place to stay! Main pool was busy and not as big as you'd hope it to be. Also walk across the bridge . Don't bother taking the bus around the resort .
Spent a week here in January. Loved it! Stay in Trinidad North . Very close to food court/main pool/transportation. No issues at all. Very clean , very safe. All staff very nice too. Beds are so comfy !
If you are on a budget, this is a great hotel . All Disney conveniences and a clean room with good amenities . Usual friendly staff
Nice hotel , rooms are small, bathroom is cramped. Staff is welcoming and friendly . Skyliner brings you to Epcot and Hollywood Studios but of you have a height fear it is a long wait for a bus .
Not the strongest in class resort . Look to Port Orleans Riverside for that. Still, it has a playful Caribbean vibe, okay food, Magic hours (love!), and ease of access transportation.
Stay here as a team w/ families for the National High School Cheerleading Championships. Courtyard is a great gathering place for the team and the parents. Easy walk to food court and buses
Fun water slides in the pool, and really nice that the Disney bus system stops at each village so you don't have to walk far for transportation.
Wi-Fi was fine. Who cares if cell service is a little weak your on vacation. Friendly staff clean rooms . Pools were great. Lots of games and activities for the kids.
Beware of Magic Bands. They are flaky at best, and if you make any changes to your reservation or park plans, get ready for multiple visits to the concierge .
Staying in barbados, the first stop on the bus back from the park is Martinique, its quicker to walk to your room. cut right through martinique. otherwise you are on the bus for an extra half hour.
Very nice! I am surprised at the amount of gripe posts about cell reception who comes to Disney to sit around on a phone all day? LOL.
AT&T gets great service here, friendly staff , impeccably clean room , exactly what you pay for- a moderately-priced resort . Don't be a cheapass and expect perfection.
This probably has the best pool of any moderate level WDW Resort , as well as the most diverse Food Court . The buses to the parks can take a while due to its size, so give yourself extra time.
Dfinitely purchase the drink cups. Free refills for your entire stay. If you or the kids get sick call the concierge they have an in-house medical service.
Trinidad North is the best village location by far, near Old Port Totaled, the feature pool and has its own small private pool and beach area .
Try to get a roon as close to the bus stops as possible. Yes they have an internal bus system, but just like the resort , they are very layed out
Here now and the place is perfect, great service great cell reception and buses are always coming evenly. Pool and food are great too!
The mango ginger muffin in the food court is amazing; add some honey for extra sweetness =) The 'worms and dirt' looks as gross as it sounds but is very tasty.
Stay in Jamaica 44-46 or Trinidad . Just a short walk across the bridge to all the activities.
Rooms are the same as all-star hotels . Shuttles can take 20+ minutes just to get off resort property. You're paying extra for the pools. If you spend all your time at the parks , it's not worthwhile.
While I would not stay at Caribbean Beach again, my tips: 1) the refillable mugs in the food court are worth the up front expense ; 2) leave for the bus at least one hour before your desired arrival.
The pirate rooms are worth it! Pool.....Awesome!
This water fountain in the Custom House (next to airline checkin) is the coldest and best tasting on the entire WDW property. Drink!
This resort has everything you could need!!!! Cell service is great. They are very accommodating. Love it'
Verizon cell coverage is good. You'll need it for your mobile hotspot. WiFi in the room consistently drops connections.
My cell reception is fine, but I'm on VZW which has the biggest coverage of all US carriers. (No joke.)
The Multigrain croissant and yogurt with granola and fruit a Big Hit!!!
Stay near Old Port Royale Centertown easy access to the food , pool and bar
Just returned from this resort and it was nice but would not stay again. Port Orleans was far more enjoyable and not as many bus stops ! The pool was the best thing about this resort .
Beautiful grounds and really fun pool area for the entire family.
Cell Service is A W F U L ! ! ! And the housekeeping lady left a gross stained wet towel in our bathtub. (Sick). Otherwise the resort is beautiful but hard to navigate bc it's so big.
Anyone can take a reservation , but Shutters has trouble actually keeping the reservation . Already been waiting 10 minutes longer than what our reservations were for.
Ask for rooms in Martinique Bldg 26 or Trinidad North Bldg 31 if you want to be closest to cafeteria and main pool! Read more
Must step outside the rooms to get a good cell phone reception.
Disney dampers cell reception so you have to use their internet instead of your mobile internet. Like a water view room, then connect.
Well worth pirate rooms . Trinidad south. Nice quiet pool and if u have verizon ur fine...(Sept 2011)
Free parking on Disney park when is a guest of Disney Caribbean Beach Resort .
Our room as bright and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We have stayed here three times and have never been disappointed. - Lesa McCarty
By far, the best of the moderates. You won't be disappointed staying here - Jennifer Elam

Book your reservation for dinner and lunch and breakfast ! This place is legit ! Great resort - Pao
Had lots of fun at the character breakfast--the kids really enjoyed it. The chorizo and cheese scrambles eggs were delicious! - Niki Means Zuidema
Book in advance - arrive early and you can choose your spot. Very clean with plenty to do. - Melanie Wicke
My favorite Disney park aside from the original Disneyland. Always a pleasant and gentle visit, seemingly less crowded than other parks - Christopher Buckley
Lots to do. Great for Star Wars fans for sure. Pixar land is a hidden gem. - John Kirtland
