Did you know that Belgium has more comic book artists per square km than any other country in the world, even Japan? Nowhere else comics are so strongly rooted in reality and in people's imagination.
Nice museum for understanding comics though most of them are about European comics . Their souvenir collections include quite a lot of Tin Tin and Smurf stuff, you'll find a reason to spend some money
They have over 1500 sqm filled with comics . The gift shop is extensive and they cover books in several languages and they also do a combination ticket with the Marc Sleen museum across the road .

The museum is Ok, the Victor Horta building is the real star. Excellent 'menu du jour' in the Horta Brasserie (13,95 euro).
Interesting! The upper floors are not all in English but you can understand enough to get by or they will give you a folder with translations which is hard to follow.
Well-designed museum . The building is amazing. Built by Horta.
Go to this Comic Street Center to explore Belguim's contribution to the art of making comics . Most notable is the exhibitions of Tintin and Snowy by Herge!
A heaven for comic lovers . A Must see.
An exposition is based mostly on french and belgian comics for children. No adult european comic artists like Jimenez, Moebius or Bilal. Nothing at all about american and japanese comics . Rather no.
A truly unique museum experience!
The making-off exposition is worth a visit! The building of Horta is so pretty...
If you like comics , it's a kind of heaven
The museum is now open every day. Don't let the guidebooks fool you!

Fabs archive, made me smile, truly enjoyed. Make sure u have enough time.
Beautiful building and interior design .

It's OK. Mostly in French. Obviously come for the shop.
Museum is great but the staff at the 'Horta' restaurant seem to have had a charisma bypass operation. Extremely rude!
There is free wifi here!
