Best two euros I've ever spent (people under the age of 26 get in as a 'youth'). So many awesome works, from the well-known surrealism to the lesser-known impressionism. A must see.
You won't find the most famous Magritte 's works, but don't worry.. the atmosphere is kind of magic and every painting or quote on the wall is enlightened in a perfect way.. really relaxing.
Right around the corner from the royal palace , the Magritte museum displays over 200 artworks of René Magritte, Belgium's most famous surrealist artist .
Loads of pictures but it’s missing the most iconic ones. Get the ticket at the counter for 10 euro. Also nice view of the city from the third floor.
This museum stands right in the centre of Brussels, on Place Royale, and exhibits for public viewing the surrealist artist 's creations belonging to Belgium's Royal Museums of Fine Arts . Read more
Very few of the most famous pieces, interesting documentation of his life, artistic stages and art pieces. There is also a “je ne sais quoi” about visiting the museum in Magritte’s home country !🇧🇪
Home to a large collection of works by Belgium's most famous surrealist artist , Rene Magritte, and many artifacts from his life.
Don't miss it. A must go museum in Brussels
A small but impressive museum . It is connected with two other museums in the area. A good place to spend an afternoon enjoying art .
Great paintings , notes, pictures and drafts from all 3 seasons of Magritte. Unfortunately though his most famous creations are not here. Admission though is quite fair for the content of the expo.
"opened in 2009, is a riot of bowler hats, strange birds...go straight to the basement level, where a clever 45-minute film expands on Magritte’s life and artistic milestones." - nytimes
Pay the exhibition of Magritte's work a visit. His art is surreal witty and awkward, impressive, full of fantastic creation and mostly very funny. What an artist !!!!
Great museum to get a bit mor insight on the incredible work of Magritte (even for people for people who aren't big fans of museums ).
By stepping into the MagritteGallery, you enter his surrealistand unique world. During thisartistic stroll, we discover reproductionsof Magritte’s original worksor reproductions inspired by him.
Lots of good history. Much is not translated into English though. Next time I'll bring a French speaking friend.
You will need less than one hour to explore this beautiful museum . Don't miss it !
I love Magritte's works and you find a lot of that here. Amazing things in museum shop :)
Great to know more about Magritte's story, good collection but I missed many iconic paintings ...
Magritte's greatest masterpieces are all here, at the heart of the historical and artistic area of Brussels. "Ceci n'est pas une blague !"
Great museum . Tip: Exhibition is chronological so make sure to start at the third floor.
Good museum and great chronicle of his life. Unfortunately does not feature any of Magritte's major works.
Nice collection, works till 17, difficult to find the entrance as signs are telling you different
Nice but the most famous paintings are not here, still the price is very low, so worth a visit anyway.
Fantastic exhibition but the lighting on the paintings bothers a little bit
One of the bedt museums in town . Nicw collection and well done!!
Went twice and need at least three times to finish the round. Very interesting story and work
It’s ok... but it misses a lot of stuff... and the shop has almost nothing exhibited inside... it was a disappointment not to see the early posters for sale...
Great museum . Definitely combine with other expositions as well
Come and enjoy the surrealism Belgium is so well known for.
