Walk from the city up the Kunstberg (Art Mountain ) which gives you a lovely view of Brussels. Take lots of time because the museum is huge. The exhibition Rik Wouters was really great.
An absolutely amazing collection. Don't be tempted to try do all of the exhibitions in one day, just the Fin de siècle one takes at least 3 hours. Free entry every first Wednesday afternoon.
The best museum info is at the central info table where the permanent staff works. They have some nice youthful volunteers but some will give you wrong info regarding location of art works .
Beautiful museum ???? a lot of art work ????️ spectacular design ???? great collection ✨

Well-organised and abundant collection of Flemish artists . Highly recommended!
Impressive collection of artworks from many periods. A must for anytime In Brussels.
The finest collection of Fine Arts in Belgium. Bouts, Rubens , Brueghel, Ensor, Magritte... amongst international artists such as Dalì, Tintoretto or Cranach. They're all there !
Lovely space, a bit of a maze to enter & exit, but it's worth it :)
I love the Bruegel room... and some other masterpieces. Was great to go after many years.
The museum has several museums inside. I would say it depends on the exhibition if its worth going in or not
The place is big, you will spend at least 3 hours here. A lot of queues too.
You need at least one day to visit all the departments of this museum .

Read more
