Bear Lake has the most beautiful hiking trails . The road to Bear Lake is closed from 9am - 4pm daily. Only way to access Bear Lake during this timeframe is by shuttle @ visiting centers
Check out the light up map topographical map in the basement . Use it to plan your trip to the park and see where you've been!
Go for the one way gravel road . Made it no problem with my 1 and 3 year old in a Toyota Sienna mini van.
You have to check this park out - amazing and close to Winter Park , Grand Lake and Estes Park!

Began at Bear Lake trailhead & hiked around Lakes Nymph, Bear, Emerald, Dream and Hiayaha ard loop back to trailhead. 5 hrs w photo stops at overlooks, streams, waterfalls, & animals. - Jeremy Hall
