There is a bus to Northstar (15-20min ride) or Truckee downtown (15-20min ride) every hour. Bus stop is at the parking lotIt comes every hour from 7am -5pm (check the schedule at front desk).
We stayed here b/c of an appt with Welk Resorts (i.e. timeshares). We didn't buy one! The hotel is clean and run well . Next time I'd rather stay somewhere more immersed in the Tahoe experience.
10 minute drive from Northstar . Free breakfast , free Internet, and decent rooms. Recommend.
King suite has fireplace , long balcony , jacuzzi , and great view (minus the airport , but meh). Spring for it.
