Although this is primarily a winter resort for the ski season, the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe has such beauty in the summer also. A wonderfully tranquil resort , which is great all year round.

Great place to chill out and warm up on one of their outdoor fire pits . You can also enjoy free wifi . Very convenient location right next to the bunny slopes , great for families with small kids.

Room 480 has almost 3 walls of floor to ceiling windows with nice views of the mountain and the pool areas . You can walk to a ski lift on the property. Gym is State Of The Art , and open 24 hrs.

Make sure you schedule a lot of sitting around time. Someone will come to you soon enough and bring you anything you need! Ahhhh.....

You can drop people off mid-mountain at the upper roundabout and get lift tickets up here and skip the lines

Sit outside by the fire pit or under the heaters

The bread salad at manzanitas and a side of the lamb meatballs with figs is perfect ski break lunch .

Dog friendly . They gave us water for our dog and great patio . Excellent service

Try the mango cheesecake - fabulous dessert !!!
