One of the best parks in northern California. Playground for young kids, very clean , lots of bathrooms and tons of reasonable trails and picnic areas for the whole family
Beautiful park great hiking and biking . You can even barbecue in the picnic areas they have lots of shade and trees ;)
A hidden jewel in the east foothills. Hiking trails along the creek and into the hills . Great for picnics and nature hikes . Visit the wildlife center or watch the deer visit near sundown.
The Creek trail from the Penetencia st entrance is a nice, shaded walk along the creek .

Just waisted 8 hours of my Easter Sunday at this place waiting for family just to find out that they came but the park wouldnt let them in. we were there at 630 am to save a spot! Never again.

Entrance on Alum Rock Ave is closed to cars , need to enter on Penitencia Creek .

Lots of space for your kids to run. There is one playground here. Of course currently right now it's flooded in all the picnic areas. A bunch of exercise spots and stationary equipment. - ÐΛΠIΞL Ř

Any sandwich here is good. They’ve also got hot food. Place is always busy, but worth it. If you’re a Raiders fan, you’ll love that place - Chris
