When the staff calls you darlin' or sweetie or hon, smile and enjoy the southern graciousness -- it is as good as the barbecue .
The Queen Mother of NC BBQ joints , but a nasty rumor says they now buy their bar-be-que from someone else. ACK. Try family style -- all you can eat bbq , fried chicken , beans, slaw , FF, Brunswick Stew .

They only take cash but the food is really good and the people friendly . However I'm not too fond of their water, has kind of a strange taste.
The Pit where they cook the BBQ is in the back. It's the best. I've been here over 1,000 times.

If you've got enough people, do the family style meal. All you can eat southern goodness. Still my favorite barbecue in the area (not counting my own)

The food arrived at the table, quantity but quality wasn't there, very under seasoned. I ordered baby back ribs that were precooked, the seating 90% white in the front everybody else rear so unhappy
