Glad we had tea here rather than at one of the more formal places in town . Tasty food, excellent tea and good prices.
Not much available seating, but it was worth the 20+ minute wait. The Mango & Strawberry tea (along with the full Afternoon Tea service ) was excellent.
Lovely place to have some tea and cake while taking a break from exploring the castle .
Head to the tea room to rest for a bit. There is a large group of kids/student tours in May. These are mostly French students.
Great cakes , good range if whiskies and good value gins !
Excellent afternoon tea . The Scotch Broth soup was also delicious.
Comically awful service, but it’s a good spot to have a bit of scotch before you head back down the hill .
Tea & Scones are wonderful combo here.
Seasonal soup with tomato and lentils was nice, Cesar salad and Cesar salad wraps were really bad, too much sauce and the sauce tasted terrible.
Place it’s ok, horrible customer service, a bit pricey for the horrible treatment
With a relaxing atmosphere, it's nice to give yourself a rest and have authentic coffee or tea here. Their soup is also very delicious, though a bit expensive. - Ali Ahi
All cakes are to die for delicious. Especially the apple pie. Cute environment. The host, I assume Mrs Forsyth, is the cutest ever. Definitely a got pit-stop in Edinburgh! - Kornelija Maceviciute
Great views, good layout, great display of the history and culture, I liked exploring - Candice Rivera
Absolutely awesome experience!!! And great taste of whisky. - Marek Hajn
