Make an appointment because it minimizes wait time! You can make your appointment online.
Went in on a weekday morning. The automated checkin told me a 9 minute wait to see someone. Three hours later I was 4th in line , then 2nd, than 7th. I just don't get it.

The Secretary of State does not accept Visa. They do take MasterCard and Discover. Makes so much sense doesn't it? Idiots.
