Still feels like the SF I moved to 10 years ago. Has food, beer , wifi no fancy decor, stoned surfers, and old hippies. Ocean Beach dunes across the way. There is always some guy playing music !

Mostly it's about the location next to Ocean Beach . Coffee is OK. Bran muffin gargantuan size with coconut is one of my favs. Also like the bagel with lox n cream cheese etc

My only tip here is: GO! This is my fave coffee shop in the area to work, enjoy yummy food & drink or just hang and take a break out by the beach right across the street!

I love this place! They do a good coffee and a meaty chef 's salad . The friendly staff are always happy to watch my valuables while I surf . Every ocean beach session starts at Java

The coffee shop in the big city , that's also totally local. Coffee , food, and staff so good, it makes you want to move here.

Their BLT is the best - hands down - in the city . Also their chocolate chip cookies are phenomenal

Friendly staff , wifi , charging access and good simple food. Had my order cinnamon toast in 2yrs! Amazing! :)

Gets really crowded , even on weekdays. You'll be lucky to find a table if you're trying to work/study.

Great lattes , bagels and hummus !..... Not to mention proximity to the beach and SFSU.

Get the hot apple cider . Does the job type of coffee . Relax or work. Open late until 11pm

Decent sandwiches , a little pricey though because it's almost at the tourist area. Nice seating outside to get the sea breeze and be in the sun

This place has great food or coffee . However you can no longer work on your laptop from here as there’s no power or WiFi and a 15 min limit. Sooo don’t make the same mistake I did.

The candy apple cider is absolutely delicious! It literally taste like you're drinking a candy apple . Try it, and thank me later : )

They have really good blueberry muffins . The location is hard to beat, but the Internet is blotchy sometimes.

Paid 12.50 for a chef salad and medium coffee . Get here before 10 if you want a table on a Wednesday--mad busy.

Local drinks : Muddy Water and Depth Charge . What the heck is that? Hahaha. Try it anyway. Live a little!
