Limited late night bites until 1am. Who doesn't want a samosa or tikka masala flat bread +/- chicken , shrimp , or veggies at midnight?! Classic movies shown on the wall. And tasty beverages as well .
The tacos are ah-mazing ❤️???? Some drinks are a little too spicy for my taste but still good. Will come back for sure.
I use to love this place, until they changed the menu. They took all of the good stuff off and cut the menu in half. Definitely more of a bar with a few snacks now. The service has never been good
The tacos are amazing! Great little bar with unique cocktails . Catch a seat at the bar and ask to see the imported Indian coke bottles!
Love East Bay ! It's the only real bar in Berkeley. Cool vibes, good music , good staff .
Affordable cocktails and menu but the Indian "street food " is mildly spiced and could use a lot more flavor. Fist-sized samosas are filling, satisfying. The flatbread is basically 4 slices of pizza .

Enjoyed the drinks and samosas . Tacos and flat bread pizza were okey - too much butter and salt for my taste.
Food is meh but the cocktails are excellent! They switch around the menus, but Portrait of a Lady and Last in Translation are my favorites!
The fireside chaat cocktail is one of my favorite drinks of all time.
If you wanna try something off the cocktails menu , they make an amazing Sazerac !
