One of my favorite concert venues . There's really no such thing as a bad seat here, and the smaller space makes for more connection between the band and the audience. I saw Radiohead here and loved it
Take BART.Bring grub,a blanket, jacket , and seat cushions. Beers on tap are at View Cafe at the top of the lawn. Don't be the Ahole taking up two seats by sitting with ur back against the seat behind
Bring a blanket to sit on since it's all outside and concrete. Hands down the best music venue I've been to in the Bay Area. Beautiful setup, great acoustics , and performers can see the entire crowd.
A premier outdoor concert venue that seats nearly 5000. Don't forget to bring your sweater, it can get quite chilly by the end of the night.
Great medium venue to see concerts in East Bay . Nice views and acoustics . ... Just remember your at a UC Campus so there will be rookies everywhere.
One of the most beautiful outdoor venues in the Bay area, though you have to make it through a swarm of college kids to get there. Well worth it!!
Absolute favorite outdoor venue. It is well worth it to pay more for the seats on the floor, but all seating is excellent and the sound is great!
Concerts are always good here. If you're not on the floor, the upper lawn area has picnic tables , extra bathrooms , short beer lines , and the most amazing sunset views .
Stunning backdrop, but those seats are super uncomfortable. Recommend to bring a stadium seat to support your back and a rain jacket if weather looks iffy.
This is by far one of the sexiest places to see a show in the Bay Area. The sound, lighting and crowd make it all a very enjoyable and intimate experience.
Enchanting venue for live music . Lovely scenery and great sound quality.
Bring blankets or cushioned seats. The place is great but it does hurt after a while. Arrive early and bring shades and sunscreen . Enjoy it!
One of my favorite places to see a concert . Sunset views of the Golden Gate, excellent sound.
Fantastic. Unique views , plenty of space, great sound. So special to see a concert there!
One of the best music venues in the bay ... But bring a jacket if Karl is around!
The lawn seats have an awesome view ! One of those venues where every seat has a good view really.
If you want to get close to the stage, get here early. Otherwise, bring a blanket and kick back on the lawn with some wine .
Show up early if you're hoping to get a centrally located seat. Bring a jacket and something soft to sit on, the concrete hurts your butt after a while.
Great place for concerts . You can take your blankets because it's chilly at night.
Arrive early, bring something soft to sit on. This is more important than you would imagine.
If you have lawn tickets, don't bring blankets with a plastic back, they'll just slide off!
Beautiful architecture and lots of seating. It's a small hike to get up here!
If you have a crazy creek, bring it. Your back will thank you. Or sit in the back row so you can lean against the wall.
The sound is amazing! Every seat is a good one. Bring something to sit on
not a good place to check out EDM shows. their sound system is woefully inadequate. great visibility of the stage from almost anywhere in the venue though.
Make a day of it, great lunch spots all over, warehouse club get 1st dibs but we still got good seats arriving at 4pm
Bring warm clothing for an evening show and something comfortable to sit on, if you're sitting on the concrete steps.
Although the Greek Theater opened in 1903, it had been a favorite outdoor spot since 1894. The name? Ben Weed's Amphitheater .
The best outdoor venue in the Bay Area.
A really beautiful venue, often filled with hella white people and lots of Cal students.
Bring something to sit on, both for the sake of your butt bones and to insulate against the cold stone seats.
Get there early! It won’t kill you to skip getting dinner before, the venue food is actually decent.
An excellent venue in Berkeley for concerts and graduation ceremonies
Be sure to bring a cushion for your tush - the concrete is hard!! And a blanket for when the sun goes down.
The lawn is more comfy than the concrete seats. And you get an awesome view .
Beautiful venue; the views are incredible.
Come early to try and snag one of the stone thrones, and feel like a greek god/goddess
Great venue. Every seat is a good one.
Get here early or else be prepared to leave with a sore ass and rocks in your underwear.
Magical summer venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Don't forget to star gaze.
Beautiful venue! Sound is great in there.
Great concert venue ! Beautiful design.
Time to revisit February 2003, crap, I forgot Kleenex :P
Seats are a little uncomfortable but it's a nice outdoor theater
Awesome Atmosphere
Definitely a Bay Area bucket list venue.
One of my faves. Expensive
