Have been eating here since the late 1990s. After sampling roast meats fr ard the island within the span of 3 mths, I dare say Alex's is top 5 (for taste, texture & consistency)

Go for the char siu (the bbq pork ) and the duck . You can also add some eggs to it. I loved the sweet sticky meat ????????

THE best duck rice in town . Even the out-of-towners I brought here agrees with me. Chunky duck breast . A gymmer's dream post workout meal. They're open on Sundays now. hallelujah for the churchgoers.

The char siew is pretty good, so is the roast duck . Gives my favourite roast duck stall (Ah Siong Roast Duck @ Blk 69 Bedok South Ave 3) a good fight.

Here to get my charsiew fix. Charsiew n chili sauce @ this place rocks! Dun try during office lunch hour, but dun attempt in evening becos they would'v closed dhop by then. Svc sucks when they r busy.

Very busy during lunch hour. Server don't take initiative unless you try to get their attention to take your order. However food is good.

Food is good at reasonable price. But service sucks.

Be careful what you eat..found a very small fly in my plate of chicken rice ..was nice though

char siew and siew yok quality has gone downhill since I was last here. nowhere as good as it used to be. not worth the poor service anymore. :(
