Best place ever
The food is great! Often come here for lunch with family. The mahi mahi sandwich is amazing! And the clams !
The garlic grouper ordered blackened was very good! Small and cozy and it gets loud but hey it's a restaurant on a pier ! Enjoyed the view !
Great location at the end of a pier ! Ask for a table outside so you can spot manatees. Great clam chowder .
Awesome atmosphere and delicious food!
Clam chowder was excellent. Try the Louisiana hot sauce on it. Scallops were great as well as the $1.50 Amber Bocks
Peel and eat shrimp and grouper are very good.
The Rod & Reel Pier is a great place to eat breakfast , dinner and do some fishing too!
Will only seat if your full party is present. Decent food. Great views .
Delicious food and reasonable price for beer . What else can you ask for?
I would recommend the coconut almond mahi , garlic grouper , and clam chowder ! All excellent.
The food is wonderful, the staff though was unaware and a little rude (treating people like a number). A lady we saw was alone and they refused to seat her at a two person table.
The Spicy Pecan Amberjack is a specialty that you won't find anywhere else! ????
No need to look at the menu, just order the grouper sandwich and be done.
Great food and best spot to fish with view of the skyway bridge
Just garlic grouper and clam chowder , ever!! The two things I must have while in Florida.
The seafood is fresh and good. The waitstaff are mostly rude and poorly trained at customer service. I am a local, not a tourist and it sickens me at how most of the staff act so indifferent.
Great breakfast - spinach & feta omelet
$1.50 for a beer . Can't beat that.
Blackened mahi was awesome. Everything was great actually. Even the steak !
Worst clam chowder on the island with mystery meat. I know its a local favorite just dont get it. No comparison to the City pier
Get the seafood omelet but get here early because they stop breakfast promptly at 11
Not a bad seat in this jewel. 180 views of the gulf.
The clam chowder and grouper are always a good bet here.
Ask for the grouper fingers
Best grouper cheeks ever!!
The better view is inside.
Fried clam strips :)
So delicious! Crabcakes and clam chowda !
Best breakfasts
It wasn't terrible for a hole in the wall , get shrimp blackened with garlic . Best thing we had
Get thee gumbo ..
You have to try seafood omlettes , they are incredible!
this place is awesome
Good food, I suppose, but WAY overpriced for no particular reason.
If they have the gumbo , get it!
Currently under reconstruction after a fire end of Sept '13! No service until December or so.
grouper ruben !? yum!!
try the grouper reuben
The seafood omelet is the best!!
best burgers in town
The grilled crab cake is delicious!
Try the blackened grouper .
Food was fine, worst service I have had in my life. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not bad for a hole in the wall .
Super nice people! Lots of gluten free options! Fantastic black grouper, sides are incredible, rum drinks are amazing - MLe B
Try the veggie burger. Really good. The fresh potato chips are made on site and the cheesy mashed potatos are excellent for kids. Great selection on the menu. - Marie Mueller
The customer service is great and so is the music the coconut tilapia is so delicious. - Meredith Pocius
Nice stuffed grouper and salmon pate. Yummy piña Colada! - Anuradha Yusuf
Not too crowded during spring break. The water is clear and perfect for swimming, and the sand is a beautiful white powder. The community is great for a family vacation! - Courtney Merkel
Sand is pretty coarse, waves are calm. Active volleyball courts. - Tom DiMaggio
