They have a small or large dog run , depending on the size/preference of your dog. Great area, nice views and very friendly patrons. My dog loves it here!
This park is full of pawsome dogs and great dog people! There are separate areas for large and small dogs but feel free to bring your tinier pup into the big dog rink if he is super active and tough.
Watch out for mean old Ruth! She makes up rules and thinks she's the "Mayor" of the dog run . If you haven't experienced her yet, you will...

Great chance to socialize your dog by letting them play with pups of all sizes. Weekends can be overly crowded though which can cause some dogs to become aggressive
The small dog run has been getting flooded with every rain or snow storm since the fall - I hope they fix it soon!
Small and large dog runs . Fun to watch dogs “socializing” and playing with each other.
Friendly dogs, friendly people, just be careful if you have a small dog because I've seen a (dog-less and unruly) child almost trample a yorkie once or twice
Take my dog here on the weekends. Good dog park , nice dog crowd. Sand floor, like a big dog litterbox. Wonder if it gets extremely hot in the summer though...
Nice small dog play area along the east river .
Get there early in the summer as no shade makes it too hot!
Great dog park , much better since it was redone in Summer 2010. Ample room, good crowds, pretty well-lit at night.
Cutest dogs in nyc play here. On weekend mornings, up to 30 dogs are in the pen at once
If you go in the am anytime b/t 930-1130 I bring my sprinkler for the pups to play in on the hot days!!
Awesome big dog run , sandy floor absorbs the smells but it's difucult to get shadow
