Truly magical. Bring the kiddos and/or your sweetie + a camera . A little off the beaten path but I guarantee you'll never forget it. A unique treasure in San Diego County and worth the drive
This fanciful sculture garden with a fun maze entry depicts the myths and history of California. The star sculpture is of Califia, a mythical Amazonian queen, and California's namesake. Free.
Great exhibit , no crowds while we were there....awesome! When taking photos, make sure to use a wide angle lens, the sculptures deserve a full capture.
Currently very limited opening times (2nd Saturday ea month?), still being renovated. Looks very cool, Gaudi-esque!
