Chris' Taverna

Chris Taverna is always good, always busy, but the parking is a pain. I ate there 2 days in a row, dinner with spouse, then lunch with co-workers. I had the gyro platter and the sandwich . Yum.

Seat yourself and no matter how busy, and believe me they are busy all the time, the food is fresh, fast and fantastic. The Gyro is the best around and the Tzatziki can be its own food group!

Great food. very crowded so plan on waiting for your food but once you get it you'll realize it was worth it.

Chris’ can be packed at peak times. The grilled octopus is a must try, but if you lean more traditional then don’t miss the lamb chops or gyros .

Chicken wrap is EXCELLENT!! And comes with a greek salad and warm pita bread .

Kids burger is huge! Tsaziki is the best dip , skip the hummus and others. Baklava is huge! They don't take Amex.

Have a Gyro and know it may be some of the best you'll ever have. Take it from a Manhattanite.
