The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota

The Bay View Suite at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota overlooks Sarasota Bay and uses a color palette of soft blues and purples inspired by the colors reflected in a Sarasota sunset .

The hotel design was influenced by Mediterranean Revival (developed in Florida in the 1920's) mixing Spanish and Italian elements, such as columns, cupolas and the barrel tile on the roof.

Honey produced on-site at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota finds its way to different treats around the property, especially the perfectly crafted signature drinks at Jack Dusty .

Can't wait to try the new restaurant Jack Dusty at the Ritz. Looks like amazing handcrafted cocktails like Starboard Swizzle Honey , Raspberry , Lemon Juice , Carpano, Vermouth Ketel One Citroen. Wow!

Love the atmosphere and the service. The extra up charges for everything is a little silly though. $500 for a room and wifi is $12 a day.

Amazing Cobb Salad , and the beach club is heaven. Not a single thing I could want that they don't provide. Ask for a beach bag at the concierge .

This is a beautiful hotel and the staff is wonderful, however, $5 for an 8 oz diet coke sent me over the edge.

$11.95 a day for WiFi ? The room is expensive enough for a hotel that hasn't been updated since the 80's, but charging for WiFi is just that extra little kick in the balls
