Juliana's owner Patsy Grimaldi is back in his original spot under a new name after having sold his original pizzeria years back. Tourists don't know that, so eat great pizza here without the wait.
If there is a long line and you don't want to wait, get a pizza to go. Sit down in Brooklyn Bridge Park and enjoy your pizza with a view .. It will taste even better :-)
SO much better than Grimaldi's ! Lombardis was my fave & always get marg w/ meatball . Dough : Juliana's is better. Sauce: Juliana's. Cheese : equal. Meatball : Lombardis. My #1 or #2 pizza in NY!
Saturday evening wait is quite long but it's worth the wait. Cozy atmosphere and delicious pizza . They offer a variety of pizzas but you can also make your own. All the ingredients are first class
One of the best places for thin crust pizza in Brooklyn. Shorter wait than Grimaldi 's. The no 1 special has great toppings. Can anyone go wrong with pancetta , mozzarella , scallions , and truffle oil ?
At the former Grimaldi 's location made by the original Grimaldi himself before Grimaldi sold the Grimaldi name to the current Grimaldi 's next door... Basically. Juliana's > Grimaldi 's.
Maybe the best pizza ever in Brooklyn! You have for sure to wait in line but it goes fast! Quick service ,good prices. It’s worth visiting once!????
Julianna's is NYC pizza history! Insider tip: skip the lines and call your order in for pickup, take your fresh delicious pizza down to the park and eat it under the Brooklyn Bridge .
Patsy grimaldi finally makes a comeback and it's worth the wait. More upscale than the neighboring grimaldis , try one the unusual pizzas like the lox . Make sure to look for patsy strolling around.
Outstanding pizza ???? The place is crowded and noises are very loud . I recommend you to make a reservation via "Open Table" app so you don't have to wait so long.
The No. 4 (tomato , mozzarella , arugula and prosciutto ) is fantastic. I saw others order the meatballs , which I must try next time! If you go right before it opens, you'll skip a long line ! Nice area.
Great coal fired pizza which is hot and fresh. One large pizza is enough for three people to have 2-3 slices. Worth the line ! But downside it’s going to get cold pretty soon.
Bypass the line at Grimaldi 's. THIS is the original pizza joint opened by Patsy Grimaldi . It is as good, if not better, baked in the original coal fired oven. EAT HERE.
Lively spot in DUMBO, right next to Grimaldi 's. The No. 1 special is the quintessential white pizza , with pancetta , scallions , truffles and more.
Skip Grimaldi 's and come here. Get there early to avoid lines .
Best pizzeria in New York. If you've never been, start with the margherita pizza and a special pizza , No. 1 thru No.4 are delicious. If you have 3 or more people order 2 larges at least.
Skip Grimaldi 's and the line next door. This was their original location and, as far as I can tell, their original coal fired pizza . Nice brews too.
The original Patsy Grimaldi is back running his old haunt, 20 years after selling his old pizzeria ! If they stick to his exacting standards, this will be the best NY pizza you can get.
Come here with an appetite because the pizzas are fresh and more than enough for two . Lines could be long but worth it !
One of ur best dining options in dumbo but not necessarily one of the best pizzas in NYC. Crust is too doughy for that nyc classic vibe
Awesome pizza ! Arguably the best in NYC. The grilled chicken one was especially notable, haven't found this level of juiciness in grilled chicken in any pizza , ever!
Definetly the best pizza I have ever had. I tried a margherita with prosciutto . But i guess there is no chance tongo wrong with any choice. Soups ain't the best, tho.
Best pizza in Dumbo. The mushroom and goats cheese pizza is the one you want.
You’re in Dumbo, Brooklyn. You like pizza . Get in the line and wait for really good slices of best pizza on that side of NYC
Worth the wait. It never disappoints and Patsy Grimaldi is the host. This place is iconic New York and it’s a great spot to take out of towners.
82-year-old Patsy came out of retirement to make thin crust pies from an 800 d coal-fired oven. Everything is fresh, hand cut and homemade . He'll ask you how you liked his pie. Say u loved it.
Pizza margarita was awesome. i think this is our home taking souvenir taste from New york trip. We'll definitely try next time
Simple yet tasty and perfectly balanced New York pizza . Ask the waiter for the most famous ones and you won’t be disappointed
Order your pizza to go and take it to eat at the tables by the shore of Brooklyn Bridge park . Pizza with a view .
Arugula salad , any pizza and a brookie to finish; or a brookie bridge—which should be called a Brooklyn bridge . If you were thinking of going to Grimaldi’s , go here instead, it’s AUTHENTIC, coal fired
Great margarita pizza and one I never would have picked but chosen by my friend and regular, with sasauge and broccoli which was delicious. Agree with other commenters, small is huge!
A little bit of a wait, but they were very efficient. Pizzas are huge and amazingly delicious. We also got a Brookie, despite being full!
This is the Grimaldi family's pie joint. They sold the name Grimaldi 's to the guys next door.
As good of a pie as you can get in New York. Stands up with iconic places like DiFara and Lucali.
Margherita and white with prosciutto...both excellent.prefer margarita. Gets crowded , but luckily didn't have to wait.takes credit cards too.
You can't go wrong with the classic margarita . The salads are fresh and tasty as well .
Superfriendly staff . The place itself is noisy and packed, but it was the best pizza I ever had. We ordered a large margarita for the 2 of us and we took half of it home. A small would do just fine.
This is pizza perfection. We started with a salad and had a small pie after. It. Was so good that I ate 3 slices.
Excellent pizza , true Grimaldi 's. Probably the best or second best pizza in NYC right up there with Joe's
The best pizza you will find in Brooklyn, right under the bridge . No. 1 pizza is delicious. Patsy Grimaldi mans the door--a family run , quality establishment.
Loved our waiter , too bad I forgot his name. There was a LONG line but it went pretty fast, about 20 minute wait. Good pizza , excellent service - I will be back again!
Their coal fired pizza is something that cannot be missed! Love how thin the pizza is! The wait is definitely worth it!
This is the original Grimaldi 's which I've been going to for ~25 years (amazing pizza !). The name was sold to the new "Grimaldi's " on the corner.
Margherita Pizza - Patsy Grimaldi , returned to the scene of the pizza crime we're happy he committed with Juliana's. It's simple, it's excellent, and it's not nearly as mobbed as it should be.
Be sure to get there by 10pm, the close early. But they will take your takeout order. Oh yes: the pizza is outstanding. Margherita with the fennel sausage topping!
Patsy Grimaldi of Grimaldi 's pizza fame returned with Juliana's. He is no longer affiliated with Grimaldi 's. Juliana's is the place to go.
Great pizza . No need to wait in line at Grimaldis as this is the original. Also, hat tip for the Rick Ross playing during dinner .
Owned by Patsy Grimaldi , Juliana's Pizza was named the best pizzeria in the U.S. by TripAdvisor! Read more
What a nice place! The owner walks around and asks how the pizza is. Told him that we just moved to the neighborhood so he gave us coffee on the house!
Split a margherita pie. Not sure how I'd compare it to all of the classics but still great!
Excellent pizza. Try the Emily (sounds weird but is really good) - J B
The Hellboy is spicy and sweet thanks to Mike's Hot Honey. you can also find collabs with Brooklyn favorites like Frankel's Deli and Hometown BBQ - Chad Horner
Their white pizza with arugula is the best. Also try their caesar salad - Jessica
Beautiful place! Great view of the bridge and skyline of city. Lovely positive vibes around there as it's mostly tourists. We witnessed three weddings in 30degree temp! They be crazyyy! - Lisa Dino
Awesome bridge, very great walk, good sight of both Manathan and Brooklyn, huge architecture - Io As Soon
A must see when in Brooklyn, a classic beautiful carrousel with incredible views to Manhattan. Only $2 for a ticket, well worth it for a lovely experience - Jessica Wickham
