I've been several times over several years & enjoy the atmosphere more than some of the other City Island restaurants . It can be pricey , but the mussels are great & the portions are extremely large.

I can't remember exactly what I ordered, but it was served in bowl. My companion and I ate maybe a quarter of it. It was delicious and we had no way to take the leftovers home.

Portions are HUGE! Definitly more than one person can eat, especially with the bread you get and salad . Get an appetizer and share an entrée if you're on a date. I'll definitely go back.

I enjoy the outdoor seating . Sometimes the French fries are soggy. I mainly go for calamari , Hennessey colada or sangria

This is all that's included with ordering the Fried Jumbo Shrimp entree. That high glass drink was not included, btw it's the Ultimate Margarita that was strong and delicious!

The seafood combo was delicious. Appetizer, bread , soup , filled me up ! I ordered New England clam chowder . Have had better. A little too starchy. Not enough clams

Large crowd but the food is tasty and very big portions . Seems like the most popular place on the island . Make reservations , you get seated faster.

Love this place! Been coming here since I was a kid...hands down best "Shrimp Scampi " I have ever had...good mixed drinks ! Family place

The traffic was backed up for miles!We went to one restaurant first&our orders were "&&$)(;;:// up , we left-but food was great here. What does one expect going to eat at City Island On Mother's Day!

A little pricey , but delicious food and huge portions . You can't go wrong with any selection. I highly recommend Sammy's Fish Box!

The paella made every single one of us sick!! But the piña coladas and lobster is good here!

I thought the food was good, but very overpriced. At least the portions are large! Drinks were so expensive I couldn’t bring myself to have one. Shrimp cocktail was fine.

Make sure you get there early so you can get seats. The food is that good!

That warm bread before the meal is so good. Shrimps are jumbo, no joke. .

Food took forever and a day to come out. Bill prices didn't match up with what was on the menu. Waiters/Waitress weren't filling out waters. Face painting was the highlight of the visit.

Over priced in relation to portion size. Nothing to write home about. If you've never had great seafood you'd feel at home here. Very mediocre and predictable even for city island .
