A family zoo membership is well worth the $ - you can take shorter, more frequent trips. kids get to go more often and you don't feel like you have to see absolutely everything to get your $ worth.
Hidden gem in Wichita, Ks. The animals were very active, healthy and seemed happy. Check it out.
Try feeding the giraffes! For just a couple dollars you can get some lettuce and they will curl their tongue around it and take it from your hand. It is very unique and fun to do.
