Test & Buy, the classic cheese was great (8 month), It will remain good out of fridge for like 3 weeks (based on the staff 's information) so can be a good option for a souvenir from Amsterdam :D

It's pricier here but makes great gifts !!

Beware: it is approx. 50% more expensive than Albert Heijn that sits behind queen's palace . Typical tourist trap. You can find that cheese in variety of packages in AH.
