One of my favourite places in town . I love the atmosphere and the view on Princes Street , the gardens and the castle is amazing... Hope you are lucky to find a seat at the window!
Great selection of books , frequent book events , but the highlight is the amazing view of the castle from a few seats of the upstairs café !
Great coffee , great place and excellent view . Unfortunately it's very hard to get a nice viewing spot, especially if it rains.
Beautiful view on Ediburgh castle and Princes Street Gardens with delicious coffee .

Definitely a Starbucks. Sigh. Wishing it was a Costas .
Almost always has a three for two sale.
Actually, it's a Costa not a Starbucks.
