Great view of the tower at night!
すぐ横にお廟の門があるので分かる通りこの辺り一帯は戦災で焼けるまでは台徳院様こと2代将軍徳川秀忠公の広大なお廟があった地域 。もちろん増上寺の境内として。現在徳川将軍のお墓は安国殿の裏にちょこっとありますが、天下人のお墓、元々は一つのお墓（お廟）が一寺院 並に大きかったんです。
都心になんでこんな広いスペースの芝公園 が残されているかというと、この地は戦災に遭うまでは徳川二代将軍秀忠公こと台徳院の霊廟があったとこだから。そりゃ天下人ですからそのお墓は一寺院 並みの広さだった訳さ。徳川秀忠といえば大河ドラマだとお江の時は向井理で今度の真田丸では星野源だね。どうでもいいけど。

東京タワーの見晴らしが最高。ちょうど良い距離なんで、東京見物に来た人に案内するのにも良いポイント。
見渡しがよくてのどかな雰囲気。夕方に撮ると逆光になるけど、それもまたよし。
