We enjoyed our masala thosai here. The vegetarian filling had unique spice flavours. The sambar dips were so tasty we wiped them clean !
Despite the management's sign kindly asking patrons NOT to touch the glass door, you should see the innumerable finger- and hand-prints plastered on the glass surface ????
Check the menu for set meals . Popular dosais & ravas paired with vadai & coffee/tea
Their roasted ghee masala dosai is addictive: fragrant, crispy , light
Their ghee masala thosai is big
I will highly recommend the idly, aapam and sambar vadai if you want to indulge in some south Indian food . Service levels bother me a bit but they make it up with great food.
I like Paneer Manchurian. Cheese taste like chicken xD
For better dosa , check out Murugan idli kadai a few steps away, especially for masala dosa
Part of a chain of Indian restaurants all over Singapore, including Changi, Jurong & Vivocity
Very tasty and authentic south Indian food
Much better options for dosa around this place. Try Murugan instead, it's right next door.
Great dosas
Very good South Indian food . Service can be poor many times. Seems like that is a common trait in most Indian restaurants .
It's fine. Not amazing. Food has gone way up in price, especially vs Wikipedia articles.
Just good food!
Idli n wada
Terrible service. Very unhygienic. Asked for it uthappam and got Dosa . The same person who was cleaning the table was serving the food. Crappy place. Avoid at all costs
Doesn't hold its Indian pride. Service not good. Food is ok!
Coffee: An unexpected find. Their milk coffee is really, really good. It has a different (& pleasant) fragrance, & tastes gr8! - Cheen The Curious
Fried chicken Malabar dum briyani ($14 for jeera/cumin rice). Order served in a metal bowl with the meat within (‘dum’). Scoop out onto banana leaf to start eating. Very aromatic with the shallots - Cheen The Curious
Oh my gosh! You can get lost in this multi level department store. It sells everything you will need in Singapore! A bit manic at the weekends but its open 24hours! - Annie Hibberd
You cannot miss Hot Star Chicken! Best Taiwanese-style fried chicken dishes everrr. Must try : Chicken Bites. - Alira Dwipayana
