Nice pub that you can walk to from Devils Dyke. Garden with kids play area . Roast beef was delicious although the veg wasn’t very ‘seasonal’. Solid choice in summer.
Excellent pub for food and nice and warm by the fire. Friendly staff . Book ahead on Sundays - usually quite busy. Great in summer with play area for kids

Love the beef and merlot pie it went well with red wine Malbec which was ok. Raspberry sorbet one of their must try dessert! So, I've enjoyed with my dinner and staff was very kind. Recommended.. - thefidelity
