Love the Scotch Eggs . Always perfectly cooked and served with a dressed salad and a very good home made chutney
All of the food is good. But the Scottish Back Mussels (Friday only) are fabulous.
Dog friendly in the bar area. Get there earlier for Sunday lunch if you want to take your dog in too
They ran out of fish & chips ! Te burger was good though. HUGE chips . Strange salt on them. Popular place, quite busy. Our group was generally happy with the food.
Food is really overpriced. £7.50 for a braised 'steak ' baguette with hardly any steak in. £15 for a Sunday roast that was nothing special and the meat mostly fat (see photo)
Great cycle stop-off, after Devil's Dyke climb, for refreshments.
Great line caught cod fish and chips .
