The entire museum is pretty solid. (I have kind of a bias). My favorite is the rooftop viewing area where you can see all around on a good day.
Definitely a must for a Nantucket sightseeing trip. The walking tour and the video playing in the pavilion area have amazing speakers that'll have you hooked. Go to the observation deck for photos.
Learned a ton about the whaling history in Nantucket...and other information as well . Great for kids too! If you buy tickets they are good for the whole day so you can go in and out during the day!
The discovery room is an amazing place for kids to relax and learn while doing crafts relevant to when Nantucket was a whaling town .

Dedicated to the history of whaling, the centerpiece of the museum is the complete skeleton of a 46-foot (14 meter) bull Sperm whale suspended from the ceiling.

Relaxing place to walk around. Stores are majorly overpriced but that's what you would expect for a place like this. Lots of great food and views of the water. - Timelessnomad
