Excellent sushi , excellent portions, excellent price (for what you're getting). Long waiting list, but pass the time with a glass or two or wine (or beer ) at the wine bar next door.
Bring your appetite and some patience. The wait to get a seat can be long. ProTip: put your name on the list, head to Kays for a drink while waiting.
Great place. Don't let your eyes get bigger than your stomach. The portions here are absolutely outrageously huge. So good.
Been coming here for years and this place is the absolute best. The only sushi place I’ve ever had leftovers at. Huge pieces and fantastic quality for the price.
Fantastic food, super fresh and huge portions . Keep in mind you can only order once and that you may have to wait an hour or more if you don't get there before they open!
The BEST sushi in Portland . The size is impressive, and the quality is phenomenal. Even as leftovers, it's still the best sushi I have ever had.
Best and must eat sushi in Portland , OR. The line is super long, so make sure you get there early (like before they open at 5pm), or you might have to wait up to 2 hours.
You have to get the salmon belly !
They're kind of #rude here. And #disorganized. Come for #quantity- not traditional #sushi by any means.
not the best sushi in town but if you want a lot for your money this is the place to go!
Come hungry. This place serves giant portions and is delicious.
Line around the corner before it opens. Worth the wait for the biggest pieces of nigiri I've seen!
This is a very small seating area. Please use your inside voice so everyone can enjoy their conversations, not just yours.
Come with a big appetite, the rolls are HUGE!
Best sushi in Portland , hands down! Expect a wait, but oh so worth it!! Texas size sushi at a great price!!
There will nearly always be a wait, but this sushi is worth it!
Excellent sushi - great prices
Everything is amazing. Hands down, best sushi in portland . The unagi here is amazing.
1hrs waiting time for huge sushi and best tempura I ever had.
Sushi and sashimi is 2-3 times larger than your average sushi restaurant . Come hungry.
Great food of all kinds!!!
Rudely told nothing in the restaurant is gluten-free. When we ordered sashimi our waitress said was fine a man from the kitchen gave me an aggressive lecture about how I'm eating at my own risk. Wow.
OMG! The rolls are so wide they don't even fit in your mouth!
Arrive early and expect to wait in line or hang out at a nearby coffee shop ! Yes, this place is THAT good and great value !!!
Ikura with the quail egg . Grab a drink at kay's if you have a wait. They won't call you: time accordingly
For appetizers have the Yu-dufon soup or try the new edamame goyza. Delcious!
Great sushi
salmon belly . lots of it. you won't be sorry.
Ssssoooooooo good
Decide on your order and then cut your order in half. No exaggeration.
Spicy mayo ..not super mayo-ey it is wonderful on all rolls!!
Always get the spider roll (and the miso soup !!)
Order lightly, the sushi portions are large
They charge 15% service charge for to go order. Does it make sense?
Go to Saburo's Sushi House and eat the Shogun Roll.
