In 1975 Spanish dictator Franco died. After decades of his regime there suddenly erupted a spontaneous Spanish movement of art, film, music and fun, energetic youthful exuberance. This movement was called “MoVida”.

Reminded us of a great San Sebastián meal with ambitious tapas . Wagyu beef with poached eggs and truffled foam lived up to the (rich) hype.
Good service and friendly staff in a cool atmosphere. BUT, how in hell can you mistreat in this way the tapas concept!? Not bad taste, but it is a pity how you complicate delicious and simple plates
The Cabala ahumada is the most amazing thing I've ever put in my mouth. You must also get the cecina & carrillera de buey (the beef cheek is so tender you can cut it with a fork).
Fantastic food and service. Everything we tried was delicious and well made. Definitely worth a visit. The tapas are small but well crafted. The beef cheek was amazing. Enjoy it all.
Decent tapas restaurant with excellent service. Food is done well but not enough to stand out compared to other restaurants around the area. Slow cooked beef and the chocolate dessert are promising.
Cecina = to. die. for. Bartender suggested the Tempranillo with it and it went awesome. Pair the flan with the Luenga Organic Sherry by Pedro Ximenez if you want to experience pure bliss.
Iconic Melbourne restaurant for good reason. Best to stop in during the day (late lunchish time) as it just gets packed. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Food was excellent and service was friendly and efficient. The marinated spring bay mussels were so good!
Best meal in Melbourne (or Australia for that matter) - go for the tapas , they are all great. Must try: smoked swordfish .
Really delicious tapas and sangria . Loved the anchovies with tomato sorbet (sounds weird but good) and the lamb neck
Kinda regret not taking any pictures. But the food was good and we dove into it too damn fast! Get the pork shoulder , brocolini, flor, cod and croqueta .
Wagyu , egg , truffle foam dish (Cecina ) was SCRUMPTIOUS! Don't miss it!
Don't be scared to try the Steak Tartare ! It's life changing. No steak tartare will be able to compete after you've tried it.
Air - dried wagyu with poached organic egg with truffle foam was fucking awesome. Pork jowl melts in your mouth and anchovy sorbet was interesting.
This will be my best dish of the night. Zucchini flower with crab meat on the inside. Was too heavy if you had to eat the whole thing though.
Pork cheek - sooo beautiful and soft. Salty and crunchy. Carrot mushy stuff was wow - eat all together yeh!
Excellent late night food & service after our show, but be sure you can afford it...
Tapas were underwhelming, but Raciones sure made up for it. Braised beef cheek is def worth a mention as is the remolacha. Deserts are a must - best on ground is the choc pudding .
Seafoods were good, but the duck was a bit try and salty. The doughnut was Awesome!
I think this is the only place ever that I let them choose what I eat and every single time it is amazing.
Amazing sea food , especially stuffed calamari and paella with cuttlefish and squid ink .
Book for lunch during the week it’s pretty easy to get in and the service is impeccable.
A little pricey but certainly delicious. Good for a one time visit but I'll skip it next time I'm in town .
Lamb was my fave... And the olives ... And the pâté ... And the patata ... And the chicken .... And the sopa - YUM
Slow cooked octopus & taters - smells and tastes good. Interesting texture. Taters don't really go but it's all yum
Order a banquet and let them feed you.. The bread is so awesome it's easy to fill up on it..
Everything is great! Glad I stumbled in. The Pollo Escabache is to die for.
Spanish tapas down a classic Melbourne laneway. Come early and get a seat without a reservation .
Great Spanish- the wagyu steak tartare was amazing and so was the jamon
Try the salt cod & potato fritters & the confit potato w curled pork loin tapas . It's like a party in your mouth.
Sopa - garlic soup is effing good!! Mop that sh!t up with the bread too!
ALL of the food is devine! I paired it with a sweet and strong sangria . Order from the specials.
Had the most amazing meal. The quince cigar tapa is a must.
Must have Air Dried Wagyu with a poached egg and TRUFFLE FOAM! Hon mentions- stuffed lamb cutlets and watermelon gazpacho with strawberry sorbet
There do a anchovy with sun dried tomato tapas that is worth selling your soul for. Service is friendly and wine pours are generous.
Try the beetroot tapas
Tried the Pinchitos Morunos at 'Taste of Melbourne' it is indeed heavenly
Try all the specials. Really good selection of tempranillos
The baked blackened portobello here has restored my faith in mushrooms ! Never knew it could taste that good.
in the words of the warm and wonderful staff “everything is good here”
One of the best tapas restaurants I've tried in Melbourne.
Amazing food. Make your way down the tapas menu .
Tasty but it's not an authentic tapas bar , too fancy !! Tapas too small, they are really pinchos .
BBQ muscles with carrots and ikura . Pretty good.
Everything is good - no, great. Seriously.
Cordero and for dessert the flan
Try the quince paste cigars with goat 's cheese , perfection!
Beef cheeks and jamon . Don't pass (Oysters and cecina worth a go too)...great atmosphere but service is rude
Everything
Great food just a bit pricey for their portion sizes!
Best tapas I have had outside of Spain. Excellent sardines, Brussel sprouts and the eggplant chips are gorgeous. Finish with a dessert sherry. Nom nom. - Gail Jones
Staff is able to make a ton of vegan recommendations that are all excellent! - Justine Arreche
This place is a gem in the Melbourne cocktail scene. Great staff. Great drinks. A must visit. You'll be back. - Bluey HK
