Mushroom dishes are always good, as this is the mushroom capital of America. Choose between classics, seasonal, and modern dishes.
The dining room is named in honor of the year Mr. Pierre S. du Pont (1870-1954) purchased the grounds that were developed into Longwood Gardens .
The food is overpriced but good. I had the mushroom soup , which was rich and creamy. The beet salad was unremarkable. The cheese plate was a highlight.
Amazing quinoa salad and "award winning" mushroom soup !
Wonderful food and they use many sustainable farms . The tasting menu with wine pairing was such fun.

One of my favorite spots in Longwood, but they need more benches. - Robert Skowronski
Fondue for two with steak tips was an amazing meal! Can add a salad or side vegetable and it’s enough for two people. If you have a bigger appetite maybe also add an appetizer or flatbread. - Liz Muirhead
Sunday PJ brunch is back! It's prix fixe & awesome! The shrimp and grits & crab Benedict are both beyond worth the $3 up charge! 24 beers on tap, great mimosas & fantastic service. Buckley's is back! - Lindsey Timberman
Such a lovely way to ignite the Christmas spirit, beautiful scenery, amazing horticulture and indoor flower displays as well as lights and a musical, water fountain show to top it all off! - Brie Deacon
