The hill/mountain after which Montreal is named. Impressive to see from the airplane, but even more impressive overlook over the city . Relatively easy walk up, starting from McGill.
A bit of a hike , or you can take the bus up for $2.75. It's a lovely leafy green walk in and a spectacular view of Montreal. You can go down the stairs from the mountain and it'll take you to downtown
Better views here than at the Olympic Park ...and it's free and more eventful to climb than to pay to ride an elevator in my opinion. *shrugs*
Big hall to warm up and rests after the hike up, especially during snowfall. Beautiful view and wifi .
Very helpful spacious point, where you can take a rest, to warm, to drink to coffee , to use WC, and even connect to WiFi ????
Great views of the city . Pavillion offers some great spaces to rest after hiking up. Several little (very little) cafes inside as well !
A great spot to view the city ! They have toilets inside if you need one, and they sell ice creams too. There's a public piano in the square outside.
The best place to see the entire city and rest a bit. You can buy some juice or water
I don’t know what happened on the day I went there, but the smell inside the building was terrible. It was a hot summer day, there was no air conditioner and I couldn’t stay inside for more than 5 min
Nice view on the city . Good leisure activitiy for visitors. Takes around 2 hours to get up, enjoy the view and walk down again.
Amazing view to the city and a great spot for morning run
A pit stop at the observation point of Mont Royale. Bathroom , coffee shop and historical pictures included.
Washrooms, and shelter from the cold. Also les Amis de la Montagne run a cafe with decent coffee and snacks . But the chalet could be so much better with some investment.
chalet (with cafe ) is a relaxing place to hang out after climbing the mountain . Not very busy in the winter.
There's the long way and the super short cut that just involves climbing stairs for 10min and u r at the top
Live music on weekends, always a breathtaking view !!
The view is amazing and the walk up is peaceful . A must.
It’s location and view is great
Great (in every aspect) sight to see! Let's go up and make nice pics from there!
Incredible view . Love it! Sometimes awfully windy ????
Amazing views . Well worth the hike up!
beautiful view of Montreal. Do yourself a favor, don't hike up in flip-flops like I did.
Best view point for looking out across the city .
The view is to die for. During the day and at night.
Amazing view and open air concerts in the summer.
The chalet has a legit fireplace to recline in front of as a break from the cold
Neat building and wonderful views over the city .
An incredible view and great people watching
Best view of the city ! Great picture spot.
Get to the top. Take a few photos. Enjoy the view .
A must visit place if you're new to the city !!
Beautiful views . A must see in Montreal.
The view is amazing - the amount of squirrel statues is bizarre.
The view is amazing
Great view of the city especially at night!
Great view over Montreal towards the River Lawrence
Absolutely stunning sights of Montreal from here.
A Beautiful place to go in four seasons. :)
Water cost $4 but good exercise
Great spot for a Sunday walk or morning run .
Take the stairs for sure!
One of the best view in town !
Strong free wifi , clean toilets .
Get an ice cream-you deserve it!
I like the ice creams .
Great view !!!
It's one hell of a walk to get up here but the view ...and the clean toilets .. are worth it ;-)
Check your bike before attempting the climb up. You will need good brakes on the way down..
Remember to Breathe!
Ça sent l’urine! Mériterait d’être mieux aménagé.
A lovely walk on a sunny day ❤️ great way to see Montreal from outside a little bit. Locals go by riding there bikes and there's always something happening along here - Jessie S
