This hotel is old behind. The old clerk at the reception was very kind and the breakfast was very good. The lounge at 6th floor is not the one worthy of expecting.

totally old, rooms not uptodate, no real service for Platinum members in times of Corona ... much better service with other Marriott Hotels (e.g. Sheraton Nuernberg)
Old hotel , compare to other Sheraton this place I'm totally disappointed. Rooms are cold and the air conditioning is very very old style

The breakfast is great - both the in-room and the lounge buffet. The staff is very friendly. Essen center is pretty nearby, about a 10 minute walk, and the Philharmonie station about 5 minutes. - Absar Shah
