This park is probably one of the best parks to go for a run in!
Easy access from Merrick Road into parking lot . Also from other end at Hendrickson Ave. NO cars, but bikes and feet are OK! Also can enter the state park across the street.
The bike and walking lanes were recently crisscrossed, so look out for pissed off newbies trying to run you off the bike lane and rude group walkers who walk side by side...
Well maintained with a nice fitness path for walking or cycling .
