現在この周辺‘芝公園’といわれている辺りは全部台徳院様の霊廟でした。
第2代将軍・徳川秀忠の霊廟、その表門となる惣門。重要文化財 。
今は芝公園 と云われてる一帯がかつての徳川秀忠公、戒名「台徳院」様の霊廟があったとこ。
左右に立つ仁王様は、実はこの門のために作られたものではありません。
