This is the first place I've been this enthusiastic about in a lot of years. It's hard to find good, authentic Mexican cuisine and this place rocks! The food, atmosphere, and service are excellent.

I got the fish tacos and they were very tasty! Rice and beans were bland, but I'd get the tacos a la carte any day!!

I still prefer to go to Mexican Town or to Chicago's Pillsion nieghborhood but if your in the Royal Oak area this is really good Mexican food . The best your gonna get in either Oakland or Macomb count

Ask nicely and they’ll let you order two different tacos on an entree. Also, Jennifer (owner) knows tequila info sideways!!!

Steak and Chorizo street tacos are tasty. This place is more of an American style Mexican restaurant , not entirely authentic . For example the Queso is basically canned Nacho cheese . Pricey but not bad

Far too bright lighting - loud but muffled music...so, not the best environment. We always eat and split. BUT good service and food.

Margaritas are tequila , lime juice , and triple sec . How do you mess that up?

HORRIBLE SERVICE. awesome margaritas , but super over-priced. and having to wait almost 45 minutes for a bill when the bar is absolutely dead with 2 bartenders is insane. never returning.

Good guac , great chips , decent margaritas . Taco salad with chicken is okay. Big enough for 2 to split.

The half off weekend drinks are VERY weak. Also, ask for the hot salsa . You will be able to breathe fire afterwards

I was raised in El Mexico so I can gar-un-tee this is the most authentic stuff in Michigan! Really gives grandma's taco stand a run for her money (RIP miss you nana)! Bueno!!!

Got the pineapple chicken chipotle fajitas ! Fantastic!!

Heard the guac is supposed to be good here so we ordered the appetizer - bleh. It was just browning mushed avocado . I've had much better guac where they actually add stuff (onions , cilantro , etc)

The chips are incredible, but don't fill up on them. The meals are *huge* and delicious.

It's no longer half off, but they have house margaritas for $3.50
