Rodent infestation declared in closure of Piney Branch Safeway. Store spokesman says cleaning and extra-extermination underway, and will reopen ASAP.

This store is very poorly merchandised. Thankfully a new Walmart will soon open on Georgia Ave. in Brightwood to offer some competition!

Cleaned this place up nicely over the last few yrs, will shop here more often

Manager lady ends every announcement with "WOOOO!" Never has cleanup on aisle five sounded so exciting.

Don't try to buy wine from this store. You'll never find it.

Rude employees, the 25th of April a bought a pack of tofu sausages where the selling date was the 5th, I told them and they didn't way to refund my money..... Poor food quality in general. Don't buy!

Come Really Early or Really late for best results

Worst Safeway in the area! I only stop by if I have no other choice. Very poor customer service, long check out lines & self checkout never works.

Large selection of groceries , but poor organization and no one around to help
