Breakfast buffet is great. Decently broad selection of Japanese and western dishes hitting all the favorites at a quality/price point that makes it my go to spot early in a vacation.
Not beach front but a half block away. Only higher floors have an ocean view . But they do try hard here, and do a great job at accommodating starwood members. Classic trade off... Half the price!
Adore this hotel ! Great rooms with lovely views over the ocean and mountains , fantastic food (try the Kalua pork nachos ) and brilliant location near Waikiki beach , shops and restaurants !
Great views . As Elite, you’ll either have breakfast or points ;-) there are only 6 suites so if you didn’t book one, you’ll not get one. The rooms are crying out loud for renovation - very dated.
The actual rooms are kind of dated but the staff here is very nice and the views are pretty fantastic.
My favorite hotel in Waikiki. We come every year & love to see our favorite staff members year after year. Bands and Mai Tais by the pool at night are the best!
The rooms are bit small on the 18th floor. Don't know if all the rooms are like that. Entering a the Sheraton Princess I killed a swift cockroach too. But the view is great from my room :)
See marsha at the tour & activity company next to the drop off. She is wonderful and full of information. She can try and book you the best vacation and let you know what to see..
Nice location, but hotel is run down. And there's a resort fee added per night ( $24) includes free parking , free wifi , and free beach chairs & water at Waikiki beach .
This property really needs to get with the program and offer the "Green Choice" option to skip housekeeping. Every other Sheraton offers it!
If you're doing Honolulu on a budget, load up the fridge in the hotel room with food (incld. great sushi ), soft drinks and beer from the food pantry around the corner... It'll save you a fortune!
Beautiful view from the 2nd tower which faces Waikiki Beach .
The hotel charges 18$ for the resort fee now. Be sure to REQUEST a 4G router or a tower with Wi-Fi.... Not all rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi.
Older building. Could use a gut renovation at some point. Good location and affordable prices
Premium location! Heart of a busy and lively strip! Surrounded by all da fancy eats and shops
Not my favorite hotel , but it does the job. The pool an surrounding area is really nice at night.
Its really an old hotel . We have got a upgrade to a family room . It's clean but old. The resort fee is noch 18 USD. It's steal! For wifi , 2 bottles water per day and beach service .
Is this a college dormitory or a hotel ? In any event , stop bitching about the hotel . Is it a shithole? Yeah, kinda. But no one really goes to Hawaii to spend time in the hotel room.
Don't expect anyone to serve you by the pool being they only have one person serving that whole area, but the rooms are clean and offer great views of the ocean and the city
Full guest room wireless internet coverage (specifically Ainahau Tower) coming May 2013.
Pay the extra $23 to get free wi-fi, parking , local newspaper...
$18+ tax service charge includes 2 bottle of water each day, big kahuna beach service , 2 non-alcoholic drink voucher and free internet
Don’t ask for for anything after 9pm.
Rooms are old and need a facelift. Ocean view rooms are blocked by other hotels . Decent hotel , but stay at the Westin if you can get a room.
Super-thin walls; could clearly hear a conversation in the adjacent room… at 3am :-/
Don’t fall into the pool out front!
Resort fee is now $25!
The resort fee went up to $18.00 but well worth it. Includes parking
Hotels dated but great views and location.
The cost of parking is included in the mandatory resort fee .
Awesome location for the price.
The haters of this property have not been to the other hotels near by, they are far more expensive . Comparing this to moana and royal Hawaiian is not fair .
King bed not guaranteed. First night of my honeymoon we had to sleep in double beds.
If you have kids, they can't take floatables (other than a life vest) into the pool
No WiFi in the rooms so bring something with an Ethernet if that is important.
The breakfast buffet could be considered sufficient but not worth $24pp.
Music at night is the best! One drink minimum, though.
The resort charge is now $18.00 (plus tax) and is even a bigger rip off. Especially if you have gold or platinum status. This hotel is not a resort ! It is old and in need of a major reno.
Don't be alarmed, that smell in the lobby is just the dinner buffet .
They lost our reservation and the room looks like something out of the golden girls. Other than those 2 things this place is okay.....I have stayed in better hotels that aren't resorts
Pigeons at the breakfast restaurant should be stamped out.
Get a fruit punch from the bar ! Yumm
Do NOT, under ANY circumstances, stay at this hotel .
The check in special is not recognized
Don't say hi to "Mark Medrano" he hits on ALL the guys !!!
This starwood hotel would have been a category two or lower anywhere outside of Hawaii. Rooms are small, old, dirty , and worst of all, extremely bad sound insulation. Avoid at all cost!
don't spend the money on the dinner show its not worth it
Shit hole indeed. I would much rather stay at the Aston, Hyatt, Moana Surfrider, etc.
Well its now $14 a day for wifi...Craziness :@
Fourteen dollars a day for wireless is unreal. Not even the Marriot Ko Olina charges for internet.
Try the Omlette - Having the omelette for my second breakfast. - Albert L
Their turn-down service is stellar. It's a treat to get back to the room to see our next gift. - J. Morgan
Really liked this hotel-great hospitality, clean rooms, great view. Only downside, parking is $25/day and not many options for street parking so you pretty have to pay. Otherwise a great place! - Christine
Good value. Right next to Ala Moana center. Also just a few blocks from the Ala Moana park and beach. Very quiet compared to Waikiki. - Joseph Tinner
Turquoise water, surfing and gorgeous weather make this a must see. Can be quite crowded on the weekends - Nene Benitez
The change is phenomenal. Beautiful restaurants on the top floor. - flyflyaway ...
Ice cream desert is awesome!! Chocolate/whipped cream and nut covered with Oreo crust. The Cajun chicken is better than the bueger also - Kelsey Miller
