Best Fish of the Day I ever had. In a museums cafe ! That's so London. Also try the botanically brewed Curiosity Cola . And the caramel custard tart .
I had this salmon menu and my friend had fish and chips , and both of us quite liked it. You can order a menu with £10-15 which is not bad costwise as well .
Can't agree with these bad reviews at all. The pea soup was great, the salmon was perfect and so far the service had been polite and punctual AND we were part of a group of 40 all served together
Burgers are basics but good. If you want medium order rare and if you order well-cooked you'll have ashes I guess ! Good restaurant anyway.
Chips are comparatively great value for a huge portion with mayo :)
£6.20 for a chocolate brownie and a hot chocolate with marshmellows and cream, expensive but nice.
Try curiosity cola ! It's really good !
Good service and the fish and chips is excellent. Tad pricey , as you'd expect.
The view is worth the coffee
Fish and chips is very nice - lightly battered, Curiosity cola is "interesting" more like dandelion and burdock
The website says they serve breakfast but they don't. You can only choose from a selection of pastries but that's it. The price doesn't match what is announced on their site either.
coffee with great view
Don't order the mushrooms , spinach and duck egg on toast . Our first order was doused in oil while the the eggs were almost raw the second time.
Kids' food free with an adult main course
Coffee and service is really bad but when outside is raining, order a cup of Tate coffee and get warm.
Try Fentimans Curiosity Cola :) #nice
Tourist rip-off central. Service akin to a grim army barracks and food that leaves a lot to be desired for the price. A rather shameful face for one of London's top places to visit.
The cola is (very mildly) alcoholic (!)
The cappuccino tastes like shit
This is not the espresso bar at level 4.
Come on Tate, sort it out! The rudest service I've had this year and average, expensive food.
Service is pretty poor and the food overpriced. Go elsewhere
Be aware - no cakes or desserts are suitable for vegetarians .
Really bad coffee and Service even worse

Three good hot meals daily (eg fish cakes, Thai red curry & sausage & mash) plus great sandwiches, salads and cake. Members get a discount. Free tap water jugs. - Alexandra Goldstein
It’s nice and quiet with decent views of London Town - Azeem Ahmad
It's free, a lot of space, very nice exhibitions for every taste. One of the best art galeries I've ever visited - Peter van Kampen
Great atmosphere, great food , My must try list is: fresh Rock Oyster, Vanilla-custard Doughnuts from Bread Ahead shop and duck roll . - Mohsen
Huge selection of art books. Also artist DVDs and a decent magazine selection - Justin
