Not an amazing beer selection but dark and earthy with bags of atmosphere, and a favourite of the Edinburgh live music scene.

Great for gigs but awful on a weekend. Stinks of sewage, staff did not clear tables - lots of old drinks lying around and fruit flies everywhere. Ugh.

Pool is only a pound, & drinks are good. BYO tattoos :)

So, they have just told a totally sober spanish guy he was not allowed to stay in cause he was wearing a football jersey? WTF do you think you are?! Snobbish bunch of alternative-wannabe. Avoid.

Not much good here. Used to be but current barman not aware of the definition of customer service. Sad.
