The Union Hotel

A huge venue with a bistro , multiple bars , function rooms for every occasion and gaming; which is neatly tucked away. The food is great and the service is attentive.

When I'm in the area I like coming here to have a few pints of cider with my friends before we stuff ourselves silly on the steaks . Always great quality and cooked to perfection! Love it.

Great ambiance and not very loud . Food was awesome & good beers on tap .

Fish and chips was pretty decent & fresh. The chocolate mousse was way too dense and chocolatey to be a mousse !

Nice outdoor seating , despite overpriced pub foods . Not worth it. Just order your booze and sit outside with your mates.

The beef pie is particularly good. Conversation in the meeting not so much.

The chips are now good and no longer contain burnt plastic. However the dip platter is not worth $27.

Food is a ripoff, vegetarian options are utterly unimaginative (what? no way, they do MARGHERITA PIZZA here?) and service can be slow. Some staff are friendly , though.

Don't order the lamb salad . It is bland and the lamb is fatty

Don't order the seafood platter . It's all fried or covered in cheese . Worst meal i've eaten this year.

Don't bother with the Scotch Fillet. All gristle and poorly cooked
