Lestat's Coffee House

We found this place online and had to check it out! The drinks were fantastic, the art was beautiful, and they had a music venue next door playing music . Definitely a spot to check out in San Diego!

Lestats is one of my favorite places in town to meet up and hangout with friends over a latte and cheesecake . The sandwiches are super fresh and delicious and they never ever close.

The Hammerhead (cold) has Sumatra beans and the Donut Shop blend as the cold brew with a shot of Magic Noire. Flavor notes range from sweet sunflower seeds and semi sweet chocolate to bitter black tea

The comedy show was fantastic. The crowd loved the comics . It was a fantastic night all around. I'm so looking forward to playing that room again. Loved every thing about it!

Dulce leché Yerba matté is great! They make it at perfect temperature and tastes so good that you won't notice that it's not coffee :)

Iced Vietnamese is my favorite drink, just be warned, the regular and the large have the same amount of espresso in it, so the smaller of the two has a bit more of a kick.

Great 24 hour coffee shop in SD. Mom and pop joint with comfy seating , nice baristas, and great drinks. I enjoy visiting this place every time I'm in SD.

The black tiger coffee is highly caffeinated and tasty. Nutridel almond cookie great healthy vegan friendly snack . Sandwiches AWESOME. And atmosphere a plus. Great people!!!!

Absolutely fell in love with this place. Quirky but very down to earth. Good coffee too and the employees are really cool

Great coffee and definitely has the feel of a great local coffee house . During busy times, like finals week, wifi gets super slow, the only problem I found...

Dulce Yerba Matte Leche is good when warm. Also, spinach quiche is great too! However be sure to bring your own wifi hotspot or work without Internet because their wifi is notoriously spotty...

The dark roasted beans by the name of Wild Cat have a smooth, oily body from the extra roast time. A sweet hazelnut flavor is the primary tone.

Lighting is pretty poor, make sure to find tables directly under the light if you are used to working in a well lit environment. Also it's pretty hot on summer nights.

24 hour open. Hawaiian Vacation is my favorite for now. It's a bit top hot inside.

Open 24 hours ! A little stuffy. Staff was a little rude, but whatever. Stay here all day and all night (:

Interesting characters appear past midnight. Great place to get some work done in the wee hours of the morning.

Make sure you ask for a frequent buyer account. They give you an electronic card to keep track . Stack 'em up and use 'em at once. Cool stuff!

I love Lestat's for the atmosphere and the coziness , but the Adams location is better for work - they have real A/C

I wouldnt go for the coffee . I would go for the 24 hour study hall and the delicious baked goods .

Tha iced coffee is amazing especially the Funkey Monkey and the food looks delicious

Tuesday nights check out Lestat's Comedy Night . 9pm, free, all ages. Comics from Comedy Central, Tonight Show, HBO. Best weekly comedy show in SD, just saying.

No AC . Small parkin lot in rear. Only coffee , desserts , & quiche . Brownies r hard..cookies r soft. Dog friendly patio out back.

Monday night open mic , artic squirrel (iced hazelnut latte ), and white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies . Great way to enjoy Monday night.

i tried one of the sdandwhiches and they were bomb but i usally order the soda . its cheap and it lets me stay in all night when i am on my roll where i cant sleep

Prices are expensive , but the sandwiches and coffee are worth it!

People watching is fun here. There are so many different types of people that come through the doors.

Vegan bakery items are good. The baristas are funny.

Get here kind of early if you want a table with a plug for your laptop. Late nights are filled with students.

If this was the 1950's, then this would be a hang-out for beatniks. The coffee drinks are slightly above average. Check their live-music schedule.

Not a bad Coffee House , but not one of the 'best'. Still with the entertainment it is closer to the roots of coffee house than most.

Best coffee house music venue in San Diego. Lou is the best sound guy out there. Also the oatmeal cookies are the bomb!

Thors Hammer is amazing. Come for the coffee , stay for the free wifi .

Wow what a great place! In quirky Normal Heights (San Diego's Berkeley). Open 24 hours , the have Espresso Breve !

Just a great coffee house . Big, never crowded , free wifi , awesome couches . Huge house coffee selection.

Make sure to see Josh Damigo when he's playing... GREAT Show!!!
