For any State fan this is the place to go! You couldn't find a better place on campus to take a picture. If you take somebody else's picture they'll return the favour to you! Go State !
The class of 1940 gave the University the gift of a shrine in my honor! It's a solid 13-ton block of Indiana Limestone and is the second most photographed place in Pennsylvania . #humblebrag
Take at least one picture with the lion each school year. Makes for some fun memories and traditions! And help out with the tradition of guarding the lion during homecoming each year.
Prayer: Jesus, you are the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Would you conquer the people of SC with your love, and be exalted. We ask that Jesus would be lifted high that all might come to him.
The shrine is a gift of the class of 1940 and rests in a natural setting of trees near Recreation Building.
Most definitely a huge attraction on football weekends amongst visitors, fans, alumni, and students. If you are attempting to get a picture for graduation , plan ahead and go the week before.
The second most photographed landmark in PA (Behind the liberty bell) take a photo with it and let's try and get it to number one
Looks fantastic! The 2012 Class gift to spruce up the area is just fantastic. The Lion has never looked better!
Protect the shrine on homecoming weekend. It's a Penn State tradition and has been for years.
If you visit campus without taking a picture of the Lion, you're doing something wrong. Something very, very wrong.
The room service , try it at least once ;-)
The Shrine is the most photographed spot on Penn State 's campus so why not stop by and shoot one!
I advise students to take photographs with the Nittany Lion in the fall semester to avoid a long wait due to graduating seniors.
Symbolizing Penn State 's mascot, it is the most photographed site on campus.
I've taken a pic here EVERYtime I'm on campus. It's THE place to take a photo. Check out the lion off to the right....
Ryan J would not set foot near here since he is a Notre Dame fan.
Stop by and snap a picture!!
The most photographed location in Pennsylvania .
Don't desecrate it.
Take pictures in my cap and gown with @peccolina!
Ducks are plentiful and friendly. Don't feed anything but the grasses around pond. Be sure to find a rock to sit on and gaze at the impressive collection of fish. Peaceful. - PSU-Lion Di
Great place for a picnic. Close to campus~ never too crowded. - Heather Shadow
Chocolate is smooth and delicious.. Death by Chocolate is very good. - Brian Aubele
