Right next to the Metropolitan Museum of Art , the Ancient Playground is ideal for older children who enjoy exploring the slides and tunnels .
There are Egyptian themes scattered throughout the playground - the obelisks, spray shower & sand.
Utterly charming “adventure-style” playground , with ramps, tunnels , and ziggurats in a vaguely Egyptian style. Don’t miss the tunnel under the big pyramid — feels like breaking into a pharaoh’s tomb.
Definitely a playground relic from the 70s/80s but still a lot of fun from my perspective. The bridge into the main water play area is something you wouldn’t see nowadays and worth the visit.
Great slides and ladders, shorty monkey bars , tire swings , and sprinklers. Only one entrance/exit. Too few swings .
Most well-maintained bathroom in a public park in New York City i've ever seen
One of Central Park 's more unique playground layouts.
Decent park . Good place to unwind. Good shade.
Great Playground - not great shade.
Restrooms are open until 19:00.
A green "Sinvy" Pokemon plush doll was recently lost here. If found, bring to marymount school on 84th &5th.
Our favorite East side park . Don't neglect the swings in the back.
Greatest place for kids.
Great playground
Aciene playground to keep up.
La zona de juegos es preciosa, una obra de arte !

Went with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The modern art, tribal art, and antique furniture sections were particularly interesting. Don't miss the view from the newly opened rooftop!! - Harry
The first time I saw Central Park, I wasn't impressed at all. The second time, it was covered in snow and I loved it. The ice skating rink, all the squirrels, the hills and the amazing views. - Hartje Utrecht
The bread they serve with the food is great. Awesome atmosphere. Best in town. - Augusto Lima
