Coney Island Park is open fr 10/10/2015. Also known as Pulau Serangoon , can be accessed via 2 bridges that link its western and eastern ends to Punggol Promenade and Pasir Ris Coast Industrial Park 6

Warning! For those who intend to bring their children to Coney Island, TV news & social media news had already warned visitors about Sandflies . Please wear long pants or spray insect repellent.
Only the West Promenade and East Promenade on Coney Island are paved. All other tracks are unpaved and can prove difficult for road bicycles, strollers and wheelchairs.
Evidently there are wild boars on the island . NParks has posted what to do when you encounter wild boars .
Obviously the beaches here are not intended for swimming or bathing. Sandflies galore!

NParks has posted guidance on what to do if you encounter "the cow". Basically, don't attract attention and move away.
Pretty much untouched sans some pathways for easier walking. Bring insect repellent or be prepared to get bitten by mosquitoes/sandflies!
Bicycle bays are provided before the Boardwalk because bicycles are not allowed on Boardwalks by NParks.
There's sandy path for people who prefer to have that rustic feel entering the forest .
The stone blocks bridge near Beach area C and the Boardwalk is a find!
500m (6mins leisurely walk) from Punggol Settlement , where lots of F&B outlets are
It's 2.4km from West entrance (Punggol Promenade ) to East entrance (Lorong Halus)
2 bridges to cross over to Coney Island fr main SG island : one from Punggol Promenade (off Punggol Rd), the other from Lorong Halus (Pasir Ris Industrial Park 6)
Awesome for a workout and weekend walk!
You don't need a bicycle around the island but it's good to cycle at Park out of the island
remember to bring along water to prevent dehydration if you are staying for a while

tried the white bee hoon at the sembawang outlet. chilli was good and $10 for the medium sized bowl was enough for 2 people to share. quick seating and fast turnover of customers. overall pretty good. - Christine B
