Telfair Museums' Owens-Thomas House

The Owens-Thomas House is considered by architectural historians to be one of the finest examples of English Regency architecture in America. Inspired by classical antiquity, this style of architecture takes its name from England’s King George IV, who ruled as Prince Regent from 1811 to 1820.

Excellent tour of the main house plus slave quarters. Tour guide was incredibly informed.

Instead of $15 for just the Owens-Thomas House, pay $20 and get a pass for the Owens-Thomas House, the Jepson Center, and the Telfair Academy. You have up to a week to use all three (1 visit each).

Very interesting, tour guide was very knowledgeable . We had a few people that obviously knew history on our tour and she was able to answer all their questions.
